My recipient's bank details are wrong — can I change them?
It depends where the transfer is in its lifecycle:
- Before you submit (Review step): click "Edit" next to the recipient to update their details, or pick a different recipient.
- After you submit, before processing (status "New"): contact support immediately. We may be able to cancel the transfer before it processes — see Can I cancel a transfer?.
- After processing (status "Processed" or "Error"): we can't change the destination once funds have been released. If the transfer errors, the funds are returned to your wallet automatically. If it processed to a wrong account, see What if I sent money to the wrong account?.
For saved recipients, we keep a full audit trail of every transfer, so we don't allow editing recipient details after creation. If your recipient's details change, mark the existing recipient as inactive (Recipients → Edit → Deactivate) and add a new one with the updated details.
