Why is my transfer still "New"?
"New" means we're waiting for funds in your Automatcher wallet to settle the transfer. The most common reasons:
- The transfer hasn't been funded yet. Each customer has their own Automatcher account (a unique BSB and account number). Money sent to your Automatcher account is automatically attributed to you — there's no need to quote a reference on the bank transfer. If a transfer is awaiting funding when your deposit arrives, Automatcher applies it to that transfer; otherwise the deposit sits as wallet balance ready for future transfers.
- The deposit hasn't arrived yet. Our Automatcher account supports OSKO/NPP, so internet-banking transfers from Australian banks usually credit within seconds. Transfers from banks that aren't OSKO/NPP participants can take a few hours.
- The quote has expired. Each transfer has a locked exchange rate with an expiry shown on the payment screen. If you don't fund in time, the transfer is automatically cancelled and you'll need to create a new one with a fresh quote.
If you funded via OSKO/NPP more than an hour ago and the transfer is still "New", contact our support team with your transfer reference.
