Why is my transfer in "Error" status?
"Error" means we couldn't complete the transfer. The three most common causes:
- The destination bank was unavailable — an outage, scheduled maintenance, or correspondent issue on their side.
- We needed to verify something with you and couldn't reach you — a compliance question, a discrepancy that needs your confirmation, or a missing detail.
- The recipient details were invalid — wrong or missing account number, an inactive or dormant destination account, or a destination bank that doesn't accept the transfer type.
When a transfer errors, the full transfer amount is automatically returned to your Automatcher wallet. You can re-send the transfer (with corrected details, if needed) once the cause is resolved — note that you'll need to create a new transfer with a fresh quote, since the original quote will have expired.
