Does my Vietnamese recipient need to provide their CCCD?

No. Kangaroo Service pays out directly to a bank account in Vietnam — we do not require your recipient to provide their CCCD (Căn cước công dân, the Vietnamese national ID) to us.

That said, the recipient's bank may exercise its own discretion and ask for the CCCD when crediting a foreign inward transfer, particularly for larger amounts. This is at the bank's prerogative and outside our control. If the bank requests it, your recipient simply provides their CCCD to the bank to complete the credit.
