Why does a transfer to China take 1–3 days when other corridors are instant?

China is a special corridor for us. Our current payout provider for China is domiciled in Hong Kong, which adds an extra clearing leg compared to corridors where we have a domestic payout partner. As a result, transfers to China typically take:

1–3 working days for CNY bank payouts
3–5 working days for USD bank payouts
1 working day for Alipay / WeChat Pay (CNY)

We are actively working to find a new payout partner that can provide a faster, more direct service for transfers to China. We'll update this answer when that's in place.
